Vision
Our vision is to enrich the lives of homeless people by providing them with financial, physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual help. Our support restores what has been lost in their lives and enhances what exists. Our long-term vision is to replicate Nite of Hope in other cities, and eventually expand the program nationally to bring separated communities together, bridge social class gaps and break down racial barriers through love, understanding and compassion.

Approach
Our unique Christ-centered approach serves the entire homeless community, adults, children, men and women, with distinctive programs that stop the growing cycle of poverty and despair. We focus on total life improvement for all afflicted with the burden of homelessness. We believe the natural formula for success is Nurturing, Inspiring, Training and Employing. We strive to break the bondage of fear, destitution and desperation through compassion, and by teaching each person to look at themselves as victors, not victims.

What We Do
Nite of Hope serves as a catalyst, by providing poor and homeless people with resources and help that enable them to feel better about themselves. Our distinctive approach to building self-respect begins with teaching them about God's love and showing them that others in the community love and care for them. This approach is most evident at our elegant dinner, held at a lavish venue.

Inspirational & Motivational Dinner - The dinner includes prayer, gospel music, motivational speakers and one-on-one interaction with a table host, all of which provide guests with inspiration and real resources that can improve their lives. Underneath the elegance of a four-course meal, served on fine china and well-dressed tables, are representations of hope, unity, love and compassion. The Nite of Hope dinner provides a safe place where destitute people can laugh, feel compassion and get a glimpse of how their lives can be transformed and directed toward change. Our goal is not to simply feed and entertain, but to present a way that they can feel our human presence and God's presence. The gift of spirituality, hope, self-worth and companionship is the greatest gift we can offer a homeless person.

History
Nite of Hope was founded by Ron Tripodo and his wife Patsy. Ron has always maintained a yearning to serve others. In late 2001 Ron became involved with feeding the homeless in the inner city of Atlanta. Since then, his diligence, commitment and faithful service have led him to visit shelters weekly to serve the homeless. In the fall of 2002, Ron developed a vision to serve the homeless a special Thanksgiving meal. This vision was manifested as Nite of Hope, an elegant Thanksgiving feast that provides dinner and entertainment and helps restore hope, spirit and dignity. The inaugural event served 600 men, women and children. In the second year, 800 people were served; in the third year, 1,000 people were served and in 2005 and 2006 Nite of Hope served 2,000 homeless people and provided each guest with a new warm winter coat.
