HOPE IS
AROUND THE CORNER !!!
|
|
We
hope to be kicking off the Knights of Hope with the
community by mid August.
The
Knights of Hope is the coming together of a homeless man,
woman or child with a man or woman from the community that is willing
to build a bond between themselves and a homeless individual. The main
purpose is to love them unconditionally and to help them through the
process of regaining their confidence in life and getting
them from the street to the home.
We
are currently looking for individuals who are wlling to give of
themselves so that others can live. Contact us to find out how to be a
part of this great opportunity for you and a homeless person. You will
never forget the experience.

WOMEN AND CHILDREN'S SHELTER
|
|
God
is present in the work being done at the shelter. Since our last email
here is an update to the activities and opportunities at the shelter.
We
have completed a portion of the deferred maintenance by having two
work days where approximately 20 - 25 people showed up on two all day
Saturday projects. What a difference this has made. A special thanks to
John and Steve with Eagle Pointe Church for organizing and putting
these work days together. We are scheduled for another work
day this Saturday from 9:00 am til ?, July 28th. We still
have a huge list of needed items and I can forward this list if you are
interested in helping. We need your help and pray that you listen to
your heart if you feel you can help.
July
3rd we had a huge celebration with a full band, big bbq supplied by
Spice Right BBQ(mmmm good), games, face painting and many other things.
We ended the evening with a great time of one on one prayer with the
women and children.
August
8th we are having another great evening with a bbq, full band, Eagle
Pointe Church is bringing their entire vacation bible school team with
sets and full costume to present the gospel, and we
are providing back to school items through Peachtree
Corners ARP Church. Call to help support us
financially or physically for this great evening
coming soon.
If
you are interested in getting involved we go downtown every Wednesday
night from 5:30 - 7:30. We need help with providing food for 170 women
and children each week if you would like to help.

2007 THANKSGIVING NITE OF HOPE ! ! !
|
|
Nite
of Hopes biggest event of the year is going to be the best yet. We will
be giving in excess of 2,000 homeless a night to remember at the
World Congress Center. This event is a red carpet 5 course dinner
with full entertainment and each individual will leave with a new
winter coat and Bible. They will be treated with the dignity and
respect and love that God has called us to give them. Come share in
presenting the gospel of Jesus Christ through our actions and the
